Mrs. Nadine Thomas of Shawnee Street in Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the family residence. She was 78.
Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, February 28, 2009 in the chapel at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Matt Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8 pm.
Mrs. Thomas was born December 3, 1930 in Geneva County, AL to the late James and Bessie Mae Johnson Skinner. Her husband, Rudolph Thomas, and a son, Rudy Thomas, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Randy Thomas, and a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Russell Whitesell, all of Enterprise; 3 brothers: Leslie Skinner, Hartford, AL, James Skinner, Elba, AL, Lewis Skinner, Enterprise, AL; 2 sisters: Doris Turner, Abbeville, AL, Zella Childers, Dothan, AL; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
