In James William Banes' will written on February 28, 1913, he refers to his daughter as Nancy--not Nannie. In another report, she is listed as Nancy. However, on her marriage certificate, in the family Bible, and on her grave marker, she is listed as Nannie. There are various spellings in the US Census as "Mannie" and "Nonnie."

My grandfather, Charles Neal Brunk, always told me her name is Nannie.
