COOPER — Richard W. Crutcher Sr, 73, died about 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the McClanahan and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cooper Thacker of East Delta officiating.

Burial will be in East Delta Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Swaim, Sammy Swaim, Larry Swaim, Tommy Parkhiil, Danny Holvick, Billy Crutcher, Ward Crutcher and Donny Goforth.

He was born in Dallas County on July 16, 1905, son of Richard Crutcher and the former Minnie Bell Combs. He was a retired dairyman and was a former employee of Dallas County, District Four, Road and Bridge Crew.

He lived in Grand Prairie before moving to Charleston in 1971. He married the former Mabel Jordan on April 16,1927.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, James Crutcher of Grand Prairie, R.W. Crutcher Jr., Bill Crutcher and Harold Crutcher, all of Lake Creek; two daughters, Mrs. W.D. (Helen) Swaim of Charleston and Mrs. Mickey (Norma) Goforth of Kensing; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. A.J. Bowman of Cockrell Hill and Mrs. Edith Waite of Cockrell Hill; one brother, O.B. (Sug) Crutcher of Cockrell Hill.
