Mrs. Emma Brewer passed away Thursday evening, April 6, 1967 at Saint Mary's Hospital, Rochester after being ill one week.

Emma Meurer, daughter of Peter and Anna Meurer, was born March 16, 1894 in Adams. She resided her entire life in Adams.

She was united in marriage to Isaac Brewer on October 30, 1917. To this union were born seven children, two sons and five daughters. Of these, two sons died in infancy and one daughter, Genevieve at the age of 16.

She leaves to mourn her daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Asper (Veronica) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs. George Prescott (Florence) and Mrs. Kermit Quale (Catherine) of Adams, Minn., Miss Betty Ann Brewer of St. Paul, Minn., twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Also four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Frank Kiefer, Mrs. Math Gerhartz, Jake Meurer, Mrs. Lena King and Mrs. Joe Blake. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 10th at Sacred Heart Church with Monsignor Raymond Snyder officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers were six nephews, Bernard Kiefer, Kermit Kiefer, Arthur King, Jerome King, Dale Underwood and Donald Underwood.

Her pleasant smile will be missed by all. Blessed be her memory.
