Tom Harris Morton, age 72 died at his residence on Tuesday, Jan. 20 following a sudden illness. He was born to Edward Brady and Betty (Smith) Morton, Sr. on Jan. 27, 1936 in George West. He was an independent welder.
He was survived by his son, Todd (Michelle) Morton of Wilmington. North Carolina; three brothers, Louis Morton of George West; Toby (Bertie) Morton of La Porte, and Edward Brady (Patsy) Morton, Jr. of George West; two sisters, Tincy Roberts of Mathis and Louise (J.E.) Holland of Beeville; and two granddaughters.
Visitation was Saturday, Jan. 24 at Roberson Funeral Chapel in George West. Graveside service was on Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Clegg Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home of Three RIvers.
