Mrs. Roberts was born on the Watson Ranch near Annarose to Edward Brady and Elizabeth Morton. She was the oldest of her siblings and walked many miles to get water for her family. She was employed with the Beeville ISD cafeteria for more than 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John M. Roberts; four brothers, Edward Brady Morton Jr., Tom Morton, William Morton and Ran Morton; two sisters, Louise Holland and Katherine Gasch; and parents, Edward Brady and Elizabeth Morton.
Survivors include three children, John Roberts, Gladys (Guy) Boultinghouse and Carrie (Leroy) Martinez; four grandchildren, Jay Boultinghouse, Justin Boultinghouse, Morgan Holder and Carlee Martinez; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Toby Morton and Louis Morton.
A graveside service was held at Clegg Cemetery with Pastor Pat Traxler officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Brush Country Cowboy Church of Live Oak County.
