Jefferson City Post Tribune (MO) - Page 6 - October 18, 1971:

Mrs. Frances Struempf, 56, of 1105 E. Miller St., died unexpectedly Sunday morning. Mrs. Struempf was born Oct. 1, 1915, the daughter of Henry and Mary Roling Markway. She was married Feb. 22, 1936, to Francis Struempf, who survives.

Mrs. Struempf was employed at the Division of Employment Security.

Other survivors include: Three daughters, Mrs. James Korsmeyer, Route 4, Mrs. Robert Brown, Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. Paul Smyer, 1316 E. High St.; three brothers, Andrew (Bud) Markway, St. Louis, Carl Markway, 211 Indian Meadow Dr., and Paul Markway, 23 Hobbs Terrace; one sister, Mrs. Leona Eggers, 1312 St. Mary's Blvd.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Quinn officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Dulle Funeral Home.
