Mrs. Effa Applington who was brought from Bly to Asotin Saturday, died Tuesday morning at the Welch hotel. Mrs. Applington was born in 1851 and at the time of her death was 62 years of age. She was born in Tunkhammock, Pa., and was married in 1873 to Mr. Applington. To this union were born five daughters and two sons, all of whom are living. Mr. Applington died at Applington, Iowa, in 1897, when Mrs. Applington came to Bly, Wash., where she made her home for the past 15 years. The funeral will be held at Asotin, with internment in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
