Former Resident of Roscoe Killed
Leslie H. Porter, 46, Canton, formerly of Roscoe, and Carl Eckley of Canton were instantly killed at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in an automobile collision near Canton.
Mr. Porter was born in Bethlehem township on May 24, 1895, the son of James F. and Clonia Randles Porter, and spent his early life in Roscoe.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Velma Lint and Mrs. Elsie Sampsel of Coshocton and Mrs. Erma Wright of Chicago, and a half-brother, Winfred Porter of Route 1.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
