Pocahontas - Mattie Lucille Buffum, 100, passed away Friday at Five Rivers Medical Center.
She was born October 25, 1907 in Black Rock, Ar. To the late Samuel H. East and Amelia Sullivan.
Her husband, Bill Buffum, preceded her in death, along with one brother Wilson East, and four sisters. Lela Pope, Mary Bentley, Thelma Hulett, and Jessie Denton.
Survivors include her two nieces, Phyliss Risner of West Plains, MO., and Marjorie Parr of Owensboro, KY.
Services will be held 10:00 Monday at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Committal will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Riverside cemetery in Mammoth Springs, AR. With Nelson Henderson officiating.
Visitation will be 9-10 Monday also in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will include: James Anderson, Ronnie Radcliff, Johny Sago, Les McPherson, Eldred Hon, and Kirby Riffel.
