Mr. Eaton was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska. August 29, 1885 homesteaded in the Ruleton community, which has since been his home until three years ago whey they moved to Goodland. He was preceded in death by Mrs. Eaton who passed away two years ago.
During the years he lived in Sherman County Mr. Eaton made many acquaintances and was well known here. He spent much of his leisure time in town visiting friends and watching the town's progress.
Besides his many friends he left a daughter and son, Laura Eaton and Glen Ralph Eaton., also two grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, Ed Eaton of Spokane, Washington and one sister Julia Cook of Sacramento, California.
Services will be held Friday afternoon, November 28th at 2:00 o'clock in the Sage Chapel, with burial in the Goodland Cemetery.
