Cropped version of the family group photograph from her husband's funeral in July 1961.

This is one of her trademark facial expressions, and I'm certain she's wearing red lipstick.

Eva at age 23 with her 2 oldest daughters, Mary Ellen (to the left) and Thelma Ruth (on her lap), in 1925. Mary Ellen developed a very similar white streak in her hair when she was 19.

I'll have to ask her last surviving daughter whether she crocheted the pretty lace collar she's wearing.

Here's "Miss Eva" in July 1961 at the funeral of her husband. She's in the front row, fifth from left. Wearing high-heeled pumps at age 58 :)

She is pictured with all of her six children and six stepchildren. My mother's right behind her :)
