Obituary: Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Al Nordgran, 77, passed away on Feb 19 2007, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 4,1929 in Salt Lake City, to Jared and Ruth Nordgran. He married his sweetheart Dorothy Hansen on July 19, 1948. They enjoyed their marrieage of 57 years until Dorothy passed away on Oct. 29, 2005. Together they had nine children, 29 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He installed floor coverings professionally for most of his life and also worked nights for D & RG Railroad for over 20 years. Survived by his children: Graig (Marsha) of Salt Lake City; Janet (Steve) Conde of Draper; Gary (Gayle) of Heber; Cherie (Gordon) Mitchell of Heber; Chris (Joan) of Grantsville; Becky (John) Feild of Peoa; JoAnne Nordgran of Heber; Katie (Eric) Anderson of Heber; Marci (James) Gardner of Heber; 29 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one brother: Jay Nordgran of Salt Lake City; and two sisters: Brigita Decker and Bessie Lowther both of Draper. Preceded in death by his sweet wife, Dorothy; one grandson, Cody Mitchell; and brothers: Ferron, Alagran, Arbon, Gilbert, and Bane. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heber 6th Ward, 325 East 500 North, Heber City, UT. Relatives and friends may call Friday, Feb 23, from 6-8 p.m. at the church and also 12:30-1:30 prior to services. Burial will follow in the Heber City Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home.
