Frank Gerdes, a resident of Ruskin was found dead in his bed Wednesday about the middle of the forenoon. He was entirely deaf, and lived alone. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Albert Mauschmann who lives in Ruskin, a wife in Emmet, Idaho, from whom he had for years been estranged; also a son in Emmet.

Frank was the son of Harm Hinrichs Gerdes and Gretje nee Ehmen Gerdes.
