JONESVILLE, La. -- Mrs. Elizabeth Arbuthnot, 79, a resident of Manifest, died Wednesday in a Jonesville hospital at 4:45 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, S. V. Arbuthnot; three daughters, Mrs. Oneda Heard of West Monroe, and Misses Annabel and Myrtis Arbuthnot, both of Manifest; two sons, George Stanley Arbuthnot of San Antonio, Texas, and Charles Dewitt of Jonesville; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Manifest Baptist church with the Reverends J. O. McNair and Joe Cruse officiating. Interment was in the Heard cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.
