Mary L. Abbott, 85, of Chillicothe, died 2:30 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009, at her residence following a short illness. She was born November 16, 1923, in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late Joe and Rose Emma Profit Granger. On May 18, 1961, she married Billy B. Abbott, who died September 10, 1982.
Surviving are a brother, Billy J. Burton, of Chillicothe; a stepgranddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
