Grace Graven Robinson, 75 (b. c1927), of Waycross, died Wednesday evening (20 Feb 2002) at the Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta after a long illness.
A native of Brantley County, she had lived for many years in Fernandina, FL, before moving to Waycross in 1975. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Franklin "Frank" Craven and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hickox Craven; three sons, Jerry L. Robinson, Julius Malcolm Robinson, and Wilbur M. "Robby," Jr.; three brothers, James Adrian "Jim Buddy" Craven, Joseph E. "Corky" Craven, David Elroy Craven; and a sister, Ruth Craven Gunter.
She attended Williams Chapel Church and was a waitress for many years at Captain Joe's Seafood in Waycross.
Survivors include two daughters, Dale Reedy of Waycross, two sons, Howard Robinson of Waycross and Glenn Robinson (wife Dee) of Blackshear; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Alice Hodges of Waycross, Maycie Lee of Hoboken, Frankie Albury (husband Bob) of Franklin, NC, and Margaret Lunford (husband Clyde) of Sharpsbury; a brother, Robert Milton Craven (wife Lawana) of Waycross; sisters-in-law, Myrtice Craven of Tallahassee, FL, and Estel Green, St. Marys; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, from High Bluff Cemetery in Brantley County.
Smith Funeral Home of Blackshear was in charge of arrangements.
