Guy Allen "Pen" Beamer, 70, of 261 Heckenluber Road, Biglersville, died Thursday, April 30, 1998 in Gettysburg Hospital. Born Sept. 20, 1927 in Menallen Township to the late Wilbert H. and Mary E. McCauslin Beamer, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from Duffy Mott Inc., Aspers.
Mr. Beamer is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Singley Beamer, to whom he was married for 48 years; three daughters, Susan M. Frankenfield, Elizabeth A. Beamer and Tammy L. Shinkledecker, all of Biglersville; four sons, William H. and Robert A. of Biglersville, Guy A. of Orrtanna and Richard L. of Gettysburg; two sisters, Beulah R. Kime of Gardners and Marvell I. Drybread of Biglersville; four brothers, Charles Beamer of Aspers, William McCauslin, Paul Beamer and Donald Beamer, all of Biglersville; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Douglas M. Eberly officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
