Since my communication of last week, I have been present at the sad obsequies of another good citizen of this vicinity, Mr. Levi Foltz, who had been critically ill for several weeks before his death at Mr. Reason Haines, his son-in-law, was buried at the old family burying ground on Benj. Foltz's farm last Tuesday, Jan. 22nd, 1895, on a very cold and disagreeable day, in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends.
Thus has passed from our midst an honorable and upright citizen who had lived more than the allotted time of man, being nearly 80 years of age, at his death, and whose useful and industrious life, will be sadly missed by his neighbors and friends. "Peace to his ashes."
