Lon Calvin Boothe was the son of Clarence Woodson Boothe and Fannie Mae Shaw Boothe. He married Betty Jean Hastings Boothe on Dec 23, 1946 in Dimmitt, TX, Castro Co. They had 1 son and 1 daughter. Lon and their 15 year old daughter, Janie Mae, died in the same auto accident at a crossroad about 15 miles outside of Dimmitt.
