1920 – Sarah C. Green, age 52, spouse Martin D. Green, 68, Walter Green, 28, (relationship not known), and Isabell Tidwell, 16, (identified as Martin's stepdaughter, so I am guessing that Sarah had been married to a Tidwell before marrying Martin Green), living in Colquitt County, Georgia.

Received from James Tidwell in August 2011 - Sarah was my g grandmother. She was born Sarah Croy in 1867 and married my g grandfather John C Tidwell around 1889 (don't know exact date). John passed away in 1904 (he is buried in Fidelle Cemetery in Gordon County, GA) leaving Sarah as head of household with 9 children. She eventually married Martin Green (not sure of date). In fact I didn't know his first name until I saw your posting. Walter Green was his son from a previous marriage and Isabell (my g aunt) was Sarah's youngest daughter from her marriage to John Tidwell. Walter and Isabell eventually married so Sarah was both step mother and mother-in-law to Walter and Martin was both step father and father-in-law to Isabell. I remember visiting them in the 1950's on our family vacation. They were living in Alpharetta at the time.
