PE-PE, WELL-KNOWN INDIAN WOMAN, DIES SATURDAY NIGHT
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at Deyo Mission for Pe-pe, aged 64, a well-known Comanche Indian woman who died Saturday night.
Several years ago she professed conversion and united with the Reformed Church Mission, just north of the city and has since resided there.
Her funeral was largely attended by both whites and Indians. Rev. Deyo officiated. Ritter's were in charge of the funeral arrangements. (The Lawton Constitution, Monday, August 3, 1925, p. 1).
