Cemetery office Hazelwood confirmed today, death date 9 April 1917 age 52 years. So it is the correct death date, and an age gives a close year for birth.
Massey names in Lot 365
The entire lot is owned by William Massey:
Mary Catherine Massey 1921 grave 1
Mary Lenora [Massey] Squibb 1940 grave 2
Josephine [Massey] Watson 1917 grave 8
H A Massey 1872 grave 25
Infant of BU and MS Massey 1871 grave 26
Bennie Y Massey 1891 grave 27
James Massey 1891 grave 28
Nancy E Massey 1880 grave 43
Nathaniel Massey 1869 grave 44
Hazelwood Cemetery records has her age 52, DOD 4/1/1917. Not any other name in all the records other than Mrs. Massey.
One that it could be is Mrs. James H Massey his wife Faithful Elizabeth Strickland. I am using this guess because her son Nathaniel Massey and his 2 wives are buried in the same lot. Nathaniel is in grave 44 and the Mrs. Massey that was moved from Union Cemetery in 1917 om grave 47.
Information provided to me by another contributor also trying to identify her as well 10/21/2021.
I think that Mrs. Massey might be Hervey A. Massey's widow. She died in the 1850s and was the daughter of Captain William D. Morgan. I'm still trying to figure out her first name.
