She was a native of Brantley County and a member of the Satilla Baptist Church. She was the widow of Jake Griner and a homemaker.
SURVIVORS: four daughters, Rosella Highsmith of Gaines, Fla., Roselle Knight, Maxine Griner and Mildred Anderson, all of Hortense; a son, Ward Griner of Sorrento, Fla.; 38 grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Griner will be taken to her residence at Route No. 2, Hortense this morning at 10 a.m. and will remain there until time for service.
FUNERAL: 1:30 p.m. Monday at Satilla Baptist Church, burial in Hortense Cemetery in Brantley County, Ga. -Savannah Now, Dec 1999
