Sister Rose Branca, F.S.P.
who served her community in Peekskill, died Feb. 5 at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry. She was 91.
She served the Franciscan Sisters of Peace at the Queen of Angels Residence for Retired Sisters in Peekskill, 1974-1980, and Mount St. Francis Motherhouse, 1980-1983. She also served on the infirmary staff at Mount St. Francis, 1969-1970 and 1972-1974.
She also served in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Born in Philadelphia, she entered the Franciscan Sisters of Peace in 1948 and professed final vows in 1955.
A Funeral Mass was offered Feb. 7 at Marian Woods in Hartsdale, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers.
