TABLE ROCK, Dec. 24-- Another veteran of the civil war passed away with the death f Joseph T. dailey. He was born at Zanesville, Ohio, May 8, 1842. He is survived by a wife and three daughters.

Civil War Veteran - Enlisted on September 25, 1861, and mustered on October 15, 1861, into Company I, 11th Regiment, Iowa Infantry (Union). Enlistment Rank: Private.
The Regiment was ordered to St. Louis, Mo., November 1. Attached to Dept. of Missouri to March 1862. 1st Brigade, 1st Division, Army of Tennessee, to April 1862.
The Regiment moved to Jefferson City, Mo., in November 1861, and duty there till March 1862. Moved to Pittsburg Landing, Tenn., March 10, 1862.
Battles, Skirmishes, and Engagements: Battle of Shiloh; Second Battle of Corinth; Grant's Central Mississippi Campaign (November 1862, to January 1863); Battle of Port Gibson; Battle of Raymond; Battle of Champion's Hill; Battle of Big Black River; Siege of Vicksburg (May 18-July 4); Guard ammunition and subsistence trains at Vicksburg till February 1864.
Re-enlisted December 7, 1863, at Vicksburg, Mississippi, into Company G, 11th Regiment, Iowa Infantry
Battles, Skirmishes, and Engagements: Battle of Atlanta; Wounded 0n August 19, 1864, at Atlanta, Georgia; Sherman's March to the Sea.
Surrender of Johnston and his army. March to Washington, D. C., via Richmond, April 29-May 20. Participated in the Grand Review of the Armies of the Union on May 24, 1865. Moved to Louisville, Ky., in June. Mustered out of service July 15, 1865, at Louisville, Kentucky.
Filed for Invalid Pension on April 17, 1875 (Application No. 203276, Certificate No. 197462).
