Vondale Taylor, 89, of Seymour, Tenn., formerly of Van Wert, died Feb. 16, 2011, at Fort Sanders Medical Center, Knoxville, Tenn.

Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, Van Wert County, with military rites by American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
