Cavett, Ohio - Betty Rose Routt, 77, of Cavett, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, April 30, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 10, 1928 in Union Township, Van Wert County, Ohio, to the late Rollo Orville Taylor and Gracie Agnes (Miller) Taylor. On May 19, 1947, she married Frederick Lawrence Routt. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2000.
She is survived by three sons, Danny Ray (Karla) Routt, David Kent (Joyce) Routt and Steven Lynn (Marilyn) Routt, all of Cavett; two daughters, Kathy Rose (Conrad) Johnson of Cavett and Cindy Lou (Shane) Neer of Frost Proof, Fla.; a brother, Vondale Taylor of Van Wert; two sisters, Lois Williamson of Cavett and Lillian Saam of Van Wert; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Tyas and Mable Lee, and eight brothers, Clyde, Benjamin, Vergil, Donald Ray, James, Welcome, Eugene and William Taylor.
Mrs. Routt was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brickner Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Fleming will officiate. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, Cavett.
Visitation will be held at Brickner Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions are to American Cancer Society and Community Health Professionals-Hospice.
