Here's what I know about Mary Elizabeth and John Davis - they were married in Wayne Co. Kentucky, came to Oklahoma about 1903 by train arriving in a little town called Stuart. Then they moved by wagon to Gerty which is the area Amp (Homer Amp, my grandfather) was born in. They all pretty much lived around here the rest of their life. She died June 13, 1944 and he died July 19, 1947 both are buried in the Allen, Oklahoma cemetery.
