Published February 6, 2009 Rockdale Temple Daily Telegram - Services for Stephen Beck, 55 of Hockley, formerly of Giddings, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Burial will follow in Salty Cemetery.
Mr. Beck died Tuesday, Feb. 2, in a Tomball hospital.
He was born on July 11, 1953, to Charles and Eleanor Karash Beck in Westfield, N.Y. He married Betty Joyce Nutt on Nov. 14, 1983, in Lexington. He worked for Power Plumbing in Cypress as a plumber's assistant. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife.
Survivors include two stepsons, Robert Beard of Alamogordo, N.M., and David Beard of Hockley; two stepdaughters, Diana Lipscomb and Hazel Beard, both of Hockley; two sisters, Janice Kothwell and Peggy Riebesel, both of New York; his mother of New York; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:30-9 p.m. Saturday at the the funeral home.
