Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. David Crump, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Canyon, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lacy was born Jan. 31, 1927, in Sivels Bend. He married Dorothy Trammell in 1953 in Stephenville. She preceded him in death in 1982.
He was a longtime member and Deacon Emeritus of Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from Swatzell Brothers construction after 35 years.
Lacy enjoyed his garden, loved playing dominoes, hunting, fishing and the Texas Rangers, and always had time for the neighborhood kids. He had a special love for Pepito's and their family and kids.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; five sisters; and six brothers.
Survivors include four sons, Lacye and wife Diane, Mickey and wife Pebbie, all of Amarillo, Terry and wife Tara of New Port, N.C., and Richard of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Anna Lou Comer of Amarillo; a sister, Nora Ruth Puckett of Maysville, Okla.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, 2514 82nd St., Suite B, Lubbock, TX 79423; Calvary Baptist Church, 1717 Fourth Ave., Canyon, TX 79015; or Canyon Healthcare Activities Fund, 15 Hospital Drive, Canyon, TX 79015.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family will be at 7331 Parkway Drive.
