Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday in the coffey funeral home Chapel for John Harvey Amlin 76,of
Rt,2,Durant who died Saturday in a Bonham,Texas hospital.

Kenneth Haworth will officiate.

Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.

Amlin was a retired painter had lived in Bryan County since 1942. He was born September 4, 1891 in Fanning County Texas.
He was a member of the Holiness Faith.

He married on December 10, 1937 in Durant to Bertha Lee Jernigan, who survives, also surviving are a son and two daughters, C W Amlin of Mead, Oklahoma, Mrs. Muriel Storm of
Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mrs. Marcella Mae Holland of Torence, California., four brothers,Jim, Denison, Texas. Marvin of Santa Barbara, California, and Charley of Pasadena, California, and three sisters, Mrs.Effice Wright
of Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. Mabel Roland of Modesto, California,. and Miss Ruby Amlin of Pasadena, California.
