Claire J. Urness, 81, 24251 Bond Road, Poulsbo, died Saturday at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born Apr. 22, 1899 in Fertile, Minn., she came to Kitsap County in 1975 to live with her brother, Ray Urness of Poulsbo. Until that time, she had lived in Minnesota and had worked for the telephone company for 38 years.
Her brother is the only local surviving relative.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Martha and Mary Nursing Home chapel in Poulsbo. Burial will be in St. Paul, Minn.
