Mr. Brea, the husband of Jean Brea, also leaves two daughters, Deborah Gill of Redlands, CA and Sandra Griffith of Nashville, TN; two sons, Edward Brea of Malaysia and Steven Brea of Nesbit, MS; a brother, Albert Brea of Florida; grandchildren, Tobie Tapper, Kate Gill, Michael Brea, Thomas Brea, Garett Brea, Kalani Brea, Claire Gill, Wilson Griffith, Blair Griffith and Tiare Brea; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, November 2, from 5-8 p.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, November 3 at Doty Chapel Cemetery in Shannon, MS.
Joe finally saw his Philadelphia Phillies win the World Series! He was one of a kind - those who knew him would certainly say just that. We will never forget him for who he was.....Jose Brea. "Shake hands", "Round Ball, Round Ball", "Don't kiss my wife!", "Caffe!", "Where's my bread?" He will forever be missed.
