BRIGHAM CITY- Deone Christensen Lichtenstein, 93, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2009 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

Deone was born in Elwood, Utah on April 15, 1915 a daughter of Parley W. and Margaret Hunsaker Christensen.

She married Norman R. Lichtenstein on December 20, 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple. He died on May 26, 1970.

Deone was an active member of the Brigham City 8th and 12th Wards, where she served in many callings including ward organist. She was an excellent bowler and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

Deone and Norman were the owners and operators of Lichtenstein Finer Cleaners.

Surviving are her children; Deanna (Keith) Page, Kamas; Paulette Silvester, Brigham City; Robert N. Lichtenstein, Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren: also siblings; Alan C. (Doris) Christensen, Elwood; Barbara Burningham, Nyssa, OR.

She was preceded in death her husband and by two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigham City 12th Ward Chapel, 620 N. 300 E., Brigham City.

Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, and on Saturday from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. at the Church.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
