Born in Morristown,Tn.,she was raised in Oakdale,Tn. and worked for many years at Burlington/Kayser-Roth Hosiery until its closure. She worked at Roane Hosiery until its closure and was most recently known as the finest cook at Mom and Pop's Market and Diner. Everyone called her "Granny". She was greatly loved by everyone who knew her and will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother,Jessie Wilder; her husband,Jimmy Gunter; brother,Bob Wilder; and sister,Donna Pickett.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia Stricklan, Sharon Rena and Wayne Tipton and Leona and Wayne Long. Special niece,Debbie Bowman. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Annie was a very sweet and pleasent woman. I knew her several years ago and always will remember how much I enjoyed visiting with her.
