Aron Halperin, 84, 109 Baker La., died at 10:40 p.m. Friday in the Oak Ridge Hospital after a lingering illness. He was the father of Joseph Halperin, who is employed in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory chemistry division.
Mr. Halperin and his wife, Sarah, came to Oak Ridge from Miami, Fla. some time ago to make their home with their son.
In addition to these relatives he is also survived by four grandchildren, Susan, Linda, Daniel and Rebeccah, the children of Joseph Halperin.
Services were held for him at Martin Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday. Rabbi Robert Marcus officiated. Burial was in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
