Note the spelling of Hilditch enscribed on these lovely replacement stones. One Samuel Hilditch is noted as being a Columbia township, Hamilton Co., OH trustee in historical sources, et al, so perhaps Hilditch is the surname?
Could these be the same family? "HILDITCH, Samuel-will made Aug 1810; probated 4 Dec 1810 record book 3 page 7; Heirs-wife Hannah and wife's sister; Lydia Corn; Executor-wife Hannah; This will written on a scrap of paper but not witnessed, but verbal statements as the same content made to William Jones and James Matthews.
; HILDITCH, Samuel-will made 22 Mar 1800; probated 28 Aug 1822 record book 6 page 451; Heirs-wife Hannah; Witness-John Ladbury and Thomas Starkey; Will made when he was living in Birmingham, Warrick County, England, but he had previously lived in Hamilton Co Ohio. Appointed his brother Richard of Birmingham to recover his estate bequeathed him by his mother Hannah Hilditch, a widow, late of Shrewsbury, England. The signature of the witnesses were verified 25 Mar 1822 by the US Consul at Birmingham in Bristol.
