William McLain died at his home near Jackson Saturday night of meningitis at the age of 65. The remains were taken to Fruitland for burial Monday evening. Extra sadness was added to the illness and death of Mr. McLain on account of the disease of which he was afflicted being contagious, which caused his home to be quarantined.
