Mr. Riser Harmon, 71, of LaFayette, died Friday, September 24, 1999, at LaFayette Nursing Home.
Graveside services were held Monday, September 27, at 11 a.m. at the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Survivors include seven children, Elaine Jacobs - Decatur, GA, Sharon Cook - Greenville, SC, Fred Harmon - Auburn, AL,
Howard Harmon - Opelika, AL, Tammy Harmon and Bradley Harmon, both of LaFayette, AL, and Beth Felder - Columbia, SC; two sisters, Nell Clark - Birmingham, AL and Alma Clark - LaFayette, AL; his mother Hattie Harmon Cadenhead - LaFayette, AL; and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Harmon was retired from Avondale Mills in LaFayette and also operated a Saw Shop for many years in the Marcoot Community. He was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church.
Jeff Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
