JOHNNIE R. PEARSON, 66, of 879 Liberty St NE, died Monday in a Salem Hospital. Born in Laurel, Miss., he was a Salem resident since 1964. He retired after working 27 years as an electrician for Forest Industries.
Survivors include his sons, Henry, Tigard, Robert, Portland, John W., California and Marvin D., Roseburg; daughters, Mary A. Sullivan, Portland, Janice L. Coxey, Alaska, Donnie G. Keel, Umpqua, Sidonnie R. Schultz, Portland; sisters, Ona Summerford, Columbus GA, Verna Underwood and Bessie Thomas, both of Laurel, Miss.
Services were today in Sunset Hills Mortuary with internment in Sunset Hills Memorial Park, both in Portland.
The family suggest contributions to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
