TURNER, Aug. 11--Mrs. Elizabeth Beutler died Thursday at her home in Salem at 960 North 20th street, at the age of 71 years. During her life she made many friends who loved her, and deeply mourn her departure.
Mrs. Beutler was the widow of the late Samuel Beutler, and she is survived by seven children, one of them being Mrs. Mary C. Shifferer of Turner, who resides in the Cloverdale district. She also leaves 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 12 at 2 o'clock in the Pratum Mennonite church with Rigdon & Son in charge. Interment will be in the Pratum cemetery. Expressions of sympathy are being extended to the family in their bereavement.
