Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 21, at 11 am, from the Ross Hollywood Chapel, NE 48th and Sandy blvd. Friends invited. Interment Rose City cemetery. Deceased was a member of Faith Lutheran church and Painter's union, local No. 10.

Former Salem resident Albert F. Beutler died Thursday at a Portland Hospital.
Born April 4, 1885 near Pratum his parents were Samuel and Elizabeth Beutler who migrated to the United State from Switzerland and came to Oregon from Ohio in 1883.
Beutler left Pratum at 18, lived at Los Angeles for many years and returned to Salem where he worked as a painter for the last 30 years and was still active as a painter until his death. His wife died Nov. 5, 1957.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Helen Friend, Portland; a step-son, Don Grieve, Gresham; two brothers Armin Beutler, Alhambra, Calif., and Frank Beutler, Salem; a sister, Mrs. J.W. Schifferer, Turner; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at Ross Hollywood Chapel at NE 48th St. and Sand Blvd. in Portland. Interment will be in Rose City Cemetery.
