In Denver, Colo., where most of her fine useful life was spent, Alice T. Darlington died the evening of 7/27/'44. She was born in West Chester, the eldest daughter of Thos. H. and Jane Sellers Paschall Darlington. The family lived for many years on Rosedale avenue here, the property now being the president's residence, State Teachers College.

She was a graduate at State Normal School (West Chester University) in 1889 and taught in this State a couple of years. Then the family moved West to Denver, where she became a successful public school teacher. Always interested in education and all good things, she was keen, live and a firm friend to many.

Her passing will be keenly felt, not only by her large family, but by many warm friends.

Here are the names of the brothers and sisters: Edward, not living, formerly on the Bucks County Intelligencer, who married Mabel Kratz; Mary P.D. Goodson; Katherine (Mrs. Leslie Paul); Frances married Charles Savery; Henry T. Darlington, graduated at Normal School, 1894, instructor in University of Michigan; Philip S. Darlington, not living, former State Orchardist; Alfred, not living, also and orahardist.
