Jane S. Darlington died June 15th of apoplexy at the residence of her daughter, Katie D. Paull, of Golden, Col. She was the widow of Thomas H. Darlington and the family lived for may years adjaccent to the West Chester State Normal School, where the children were educated.
She was the daughter of Stephen and Ann Sellers Paschall and born on her father's farm near the Schuylkill (river) below Philadphia, March 1st 1842, coming to the old Sharples homestead in West Chester in 1858 to reside and where she was married January 1st, 1868.
She leaves to survive her a brother, S. Edward Paschall, of Chico, Washington; a sister, Mary Frances Paschall, of Philadelphia; and eight children: Edward B. Darlington, an engineer of irrigation; Jerome, Idaho; Prof. Henry T. Darlington, teaching at University East Lansing, Michigan; Philip S. Darlington, State Inspector of fruit ranches, Wenatchee, Washington. The daughters, Alice P.Darlington, Mary P. Darlington, Frances D. Savery and Katie D. Paull, all live in the vicinity of Denver.
Ther are also 17 grandchildren, as well as many relatives about West Chester among the Dharples and Darlington name.
She is known and appreciated by hundreds of the Normal students who were always welcomed to her hospitable and genial home.

Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services at the residence of Alfred D. Sharples, West Chester, Pa., on the 23d inst. at 2 p.m.
