Levi lived for a while in Clarence, Niagara County, New York. He returned to Salem, Washington County, New York, his place of birth, and died there of consumption, at the house of Dr. Seth Brown, one of his brothers. Levi is buried in the same cemtery in Granville, Washington County, New York as is his mother, Jane (Anderson) and his brother, Samuel.
