Funeral services were held Thursday Nov 21 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bloomington with Bishop L Thomas Williams officiating. Interment and graveside services were conducted Monday, Nov 25, in Afton, Wyoming.
Amelia was born March 6, 1896 in St. George, Utah to Benjamin and Amelia Thompson Pendleton. She was a member of the LDS Church and a retired school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband Abram Taysom.
Survivors include two sons, Lloyd Taysom, Bloomington and Wayne Taysom, Corvallis Ore.; three sister, Alice Baxter, Richland Wash.; Mattie Pendleton, St. George, Utah; Agnes Merkeley Pasco, Wash.; two brothers, Owen Pendleton and Anthony Pendleton, St George; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are Verl Taysom, Napa Calif.; Erma Hinckley, Salt Lake City Wyla Ames, Boise, Idaho, Louise Roos Sandpoint, Idaho.
