YOAKUM – Mrs. Antonia Benys, 94, a former Yoakum resident of El Campo, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday in El Campo.

Mrs. Benys was born July 15, 1877 in Czechoslovakia.

Funeral services are pending at Buffington Funeral Home in Yoakum.

She is survived by three sons, Rudy Benys of Yoakum, Alfred and Edwin Benys of El Campo; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Martinaka of Sinton, Mrs. Wesley Petus (?) of Corpus Christi, Miss Viola Benys of El Campo; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ermis of Yoakum, Mrs. W. J. Baros of Yoakum; a brother, Anton Kasparek of Yoakum; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
