Mrs.
Myrtle Gafford, 82, will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in the Turkey Church of
Christ with Lewis Hunter, minister, officiating.
Assisting will be the Rev. James Wilburn,
pastor of First United Methodist
Church. Burial will be in Dreamland
Cemetery under the direction of Seigler
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gafford, a native of Ellis County,
died early Sunday in Lakeside Nursing
Home in Lubbock following a lengthy illness.
She had lived in Turkey since 1920
and was a member of the Turkey
Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, George of
Turkey, Conway of Lubbock, Randy of
Floydada and V.H. of Boise, Idaho; a
daughter, Mrs. Bob Copeland of Lubbock;
17 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren
