FORT WORTH - Aaron Copeland, 83, a retired aircraft industry supervisor, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 1997, at home.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in Springtown Cemetery in Springtown. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Baumgardner Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Aaron Copeland was born Jan. 28, 1914, in Carter County, Okla. He worked for Convair/Consolidated in San Diego, Calif., and Fort Worth.
After retirement he worked for the Fort Worth Police Department. He raised greyhounds for several years, was an avid football fan and a musician. He was a Mason and a beloved husband, Daddy and Papa.
Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Sybil Copeland of Fort Worth; son, Aaron Ray Copeland and his wife, Janet, of Arlington; daughter, Sharon Hinkle and her husband, Max, of Springtown; grandsons, Duane Martin and his wife, Desiree, of Fort Worth and David Martin of Austin; granddaughter, Cathi Dayton and her husband, Tommy, of Arlington; great-grandsons, Kevin and Adam Martin of Fort Worth; and great-granddaughters, Tamara and Carrie Dayton of Arlington.
